Please welcome Eric Greene, the newest member of the Williams Integracare team. While Eric joins us as a Registered Nurse and Certified Nurse Practitioner, he originally planned to attend physical therapy school. Learn more about Eric and his lifelong passion for helping people below.

Education and Experience

Eric originally came to the St. Cloud area in 2004 when he attended St. Cloud State University and played basketball for the Huskies. He graduated in 2008 with a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Science. After researching his options, Eric decided to pursue a career in nursing instead of following his original plan to attend physical therapy school.C73U7784.jpg He re-enrolled in St. Cloud State from 2010 to 2012 and graduated with a second Bachelor’s degree, this time in nursing.

During nursing school, Eric worked as a nursing assistant at the St. Cloud Hospital's Neurology unit. Upon completion of his nursing degree, he moved to the Intensive Care Unit and worked as an RN. Two years later he decided to pursue his Master's degree at Walden University while continuing to work as a nurse. He graduated in 2016, becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner.

Eric enjoys caring for all ages but developed a love for pediatrics while completing his pediatric rotation in school. He says he finds himself smiling from ear to ear after taking care of kids. He also enjoys:

Why Family Practice

Eric enjoyed his time working in the Intensive Care Unit and learned something new every day. However, he realized that moving to a family practice setting would give him the opportunity to make a difference in each patient's health and perhaps prevent Intensive Care Unit admissions.

While patient and family interaction occurs in the ICU, this is often during one of the most stressful times of both the patient's and their family’s life. In the family practice setting, communication often lends itself to a more lighthearted conversation between the provider and patient, which Eric enjoys.

Outside of Work

When he's not working, Eric enjoys spending his time with family. He and his wife, Missy, have been married for over five years. They have two sons. Missy has worked at Williams Integracare for over six years. She often works at the front desk and may have scheduled your appointment!

Eric still enjoys playing basketball and often plays in local leagues and tournaments. You may find him on the golf course or at the lake waterskiing. In the winter he enjoys snowboarding and actually spent a year living in Colorado being a snowboard bum.
